did Pernilla Karlsson started?
Pernilla Karlsson: I have always been singing much, but
mostly I´ve done sports lately. My brother is a very good Music
producer, so he made me sing and perform again!

are your musical inspirations and what kind of music do you generally listen to?
Pernilla Karlsson: I listen to almost all kind of music, but
I really like Florence and the Machine.

you a regular follower of Eurovision, an ESC-fan? It has been a dream
to go to Eurovision to represent your country?
Pernilla Karlsson: As far as I can remember, I´ve always
watched the ESC. It´s really a dream come true for me to get to
represent my country in the ESC! I didn´t believe this was going to
happen!

the song that has marked you most in the history of Eurovision?
Pernilla Karlsson: Maybe Abba with Waterloo in 1974, that
is a song that never dies. Of course I remember songs with a good show
too!

your song, what could you tell us about it?
Pernilla Karlsson: We made this song with my brother to our
mothers 50th birthday. It is a very honest and emotional song and with
the song we want to tell our mother how much we love her and respect her.

your performance in May, do you have something already planned?
Pernilla Karlsson: I will keep it very simple, just me and
my cellist on stage. But I will have a very beautiful dress!

would be your feelings if Finland is one of the 10 qualifiers on semi-final
1?
Pernilla Karlsson: Oh, I would be so thankful and happy, it
would mean so much to me. But I will do my best in the semifinals and
hope that it will go well.

you winning the great final of Eurovision 2012, what would it mean for
you?
Pernilla Karlsson: It would mean a lot, I can´t heaven
explain in words. But for now I will just enjoy this opportunity and do
my best in the competition!

you heard any of the other songs in competition? What’s your favourite?
Pernilla Karlsson: I have to admit that I still haven’t
found time to listen to all the others, but some of them I´ve heard. I
like Sweden's and Cyprus'.

do you think about the song that Portugal will send to the Eurovision ("My Life" by Filipa Sousa)?
Pernilla Karlsson: She sings really really good, it´s a very
nice song! I like it a lot and think that it has a great potential.

Eurovision, do you have any projects?
Pernilla Karlsson: I´m now working on new material with my
brother so I will spend much time in the studio recording songs this
summer.

you like to return one day to Eurovision?
Pernilla Karlsson: I think it´s a once in a life time thing,
but of course if I would if I have a chance to do it!
