Krista Siegfrids, 28 anos, tornou-se conhecida do público no "The Voice Of Finland".
levem as pessoas a votar?
nós porque gostaram do nosso espetáculo louco.
candidatos."
"O “The Voice of Finland” foi uma boa experiência porque o público
musicais preferidos?
"“More is more” na
música também. Haha!
Quero fazer as pessoas dançar e passar
recebeu no ano seguinte?
finlandesa?
"Sim, é. Eu vejo sempre o Melodifestivalen.
"MARRY ME, PORTUGAL! Juntem-se à Team Ding Dong! Beijos,
Krista."

FINLAND'S ENTRY AT EUROVISION 2013
Krista Siegfrids, always happy, shows how eager she is for the Eurovision. She assumes to be a big fan of the Festival and leaves a funny message to the Portuguese fans.
Siegfrids Krista, 28, became known to the public at "The Voice Of Finland". She is an artist who likes the eccentricity, something one will notice with the release of an album in May, her first CD.
Why did you
decide to enter “Marry Me” to the Finnish selection?
"Because I
love the song and I think both the song and the show is perfect for Eurovision."
What means
to you to participate in the Eurovision?
"It's a
dream come true! I've always been a huge Eurovision fan."
You won the
show with huge support from the audience and also the help from the juries. Was
that victory expected? What were “Marry Me” strongest points to make people
vote for you?
"I believed
in my Team Ding Dong all the time and I thought that we had a chance to win! I
think that the finnish people voted for us because they liked the crazy show.
Finland is not used to these kinds of show numbers, so I think they liked it
very much. It was special among the other numbers."
You came to
the public with “The Voice of Finland”. How was the experience?
You usually
say about your performances that “more is more”. How can you describe yourself
in music? What are your favorite styles?
"More is
more in music too. Haha! My album is coming out 10th of May, and most of the
songs on the album are up tempo party songs! I want people to dance and have a
great time! I wanna make people smile. I listen to
all kinds of music. But Pop and Rock have a special place in my heart."
You already
said that you were a huge fan of Carola’s “Fångad Av En Stormvind” and her
performance with the wind machine, so that you will include a wind machine in
your performance. How will it be? Can you tell us something?
"Yes, OF
COURSE I will have a wind machine! But I don't wanna tell you what's gonna
happen on stage yet... But one thing is for sure, and that is that our show
will be FULL OF SURPRISES! The show will be energetic and funny and of course
I'll be performing in a huge wedding dress."
This is the
third time in a row that a Swedish-speaking Finns represents Finland in
Eurovision. Is there any reason? Do you feel more pressure to be good on stage
to show that you’re 100% under Finland’s flag?
"Of course
I'm 100% Finnish, even though my modertounge is swedish. I think that my
country is proud of me."
The contest is going to be held in Malmö, Sweden. This country has one of the largest music industries in the world. Do you plan to benefit from that?
You were
already a ESC fan before winning the national final. How did you feel when
Finland won the ESC in 2006, and then hosted it the following year?
"It was
AMAZING! And I was there watching the show LIVE! I hope it happens again."
How do the
Finnish people see the Eurovision nowadays? It has changed since the country
has hosted it in 2007?
"I think the Finnish people always watched the Eurovision Song Contest. And I think it still
is a big thing! Of course the interest will become bigger if we would win more
often. I hope Team Ding Dong can make Finland proud this year."
Is
Melodifestivalen (the Swedish national final) popular amongst theSwedish Finns?
Or they still prefer to watch and vote for the Finnish selection?
"Yes, it it.
I always watch Melodifestivalen. It's a great show! But I think they watch the
finnish selection too."
"Yes, I have!
There are so many great artists and good songs. The competition is really hard
in both semifinals. It's really cool that Bonnie Tyler is competing in ESC.
I've been admiring her voice since I was a little kid! Hope I get to take a
fan picture with her!"
Can Finland
win again this year?
"I really hope so!"
In your
opinion, what is the best Finnish entry ever? And your favorite from the
Eurovision in general?
"Lordi, of
course! And I love Ruslana and "Wild dances" too."
Can you please leave some words to the Portuguese fans…
"MARRY ME, PORTUGAL! Join the Team Ding Dong! Kisses, Krista"
